Vow renewal on the Outer Banks in NC.  The ceremony was on the beach and the reception took place at the rental home on the patio by the pool.  It was an intimate gathering of close freinds and family.  The china and decor was purchased to be a decor element for the renewal as well as for future use in the home.  

The project started out as two rooms with a large cased opening.  The homeowners wanted a large bedroom with an attached bathroom and room for a seating area. The shower was enlarged  and tiled, and a sink vanity with pedestal sink was added  in  a smaller size to make the bathroom look more updated and larger.  The decor was finished with a bling light over the mirror and a flush mount bling chandelier. 

Christmas is not always about the traditional red and green colors.  Sometimes your decor lends itself to other ways of decorating that match your style better.  The decor was finished off with matching white fluffy stockings with personalized tags with the family's names. 

The homeowners had purchased decking for their deck but wanted to make the posts look more substantial and stand out more. It took a few tries for the carpenter to get the accent piece on the top of the stone just right, because sometimes as a designer the design that you planned for, adjusts when you are putting it into the space.  The end result was beautiful.  

The love of the lake was the inspiration for this guest bedroom.  I added a wallpaper accent wall behind the bed with a shelf for decorations and small items since there was no room for side tables.  The gold sconce light gave the option for light while in bed.  Under the bed drawers allows a place for storage in the small room. 

The couple had the first wedding at this location and wanted someone to handle the decorating for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception tent.  I wanted to surprise them by adding the chair covers for them with the bride and groom signs.
